You Deserve A Financial Partner Who Actually Gets It

Not a software subscription. Not a faceless national firm. A real team that knows your industry, understands your goals, and helps you build toward them — month after month.

We built BKKPRS for the business owners who’ve been handed generic advice, impersonal service, or a portal login and told to figure it out. If you run a trade business, a construction company, a farm or ranch, or a medical or dental practice — you’re exactly who we had in mind.

That’s what BKKPRS was built to be.

Built Around a Problem We Kept Seeing

Small and mid-size business owners were being underserved. Their books were messy, their reporting was unreliable, and the financial expertise they needed was either unavailable locally or priced out of reach.

Meanwhile, large organizations had full accounting departments, CFO support, and financial infrastructure most small business owners could only dream about.

The gap was real — and we’d both seen it up close, from opposite sides of the desk.

BKKPRS was founded in 2024 to close it. To give small and growing businesses the same quality of financial management that larger organizations take for granted — without the overhead, without the impersonal service, and without the price tag of building an internal team.

We’re based in the Texas Hill Country because this is home. And we care about the businesses here the way neighbors do — personally.

As co-founders, Kaitlyn and Dustin lead the vision and strategy behind every engagement. BKKPRS is built to scale — with a growing team that shares the same standards, responsiveness, and commitment to the businesses we serve.

We Bring Experience That Goes Beyond the Basics

Between us, we’ve managed books for startups and for organizations doing hundreds of millions in revenue. We’ve built accounting teams, navigated mergers, structured multi-entity reporting, and worked across industries most firms have never touched. We share that not to impress you — but to show you that whatever your business looks like, we’ve seen something like it before.

Kaitlyn grew up surrounded by family businesses — her family has been building and running companies for over 50 years. That foundation gave her something most accountants don’t have: a genuine understanding of what it feels like to run a business, not just account for one.

She’s been working in the accounting industry since 2013, leading accounting and payroll teams across multiple industries. She holds an MBA in Accounting and Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M, and she’s built a reputation for developing the kind of clean, efficient processes that make financial operations actually work. Outside the office, Kaitlyn has shown horses most of her life — she’s as rooted in the equestrian and ag community as she is in the Hill Country, and she brings that same discipline and attention to detail to every client engagement.

Dustin didn’t start his career behind a desk — he started it in the field, working in HVAC in 2004. That time in the trades gave him a ground-level understanding of how trade businesses actually operate: the cash flow pressures, the job costing challenges, the complexity of managing crews and subcontractors. It’s the kind of insight you can’t get from a textbook.

He transitioned into accounting and finance leadership in 2010 and has spent most of his career leading teams across complex multi-entity organizations — spanning insurance, oil and gas, real estate, farm and ranch, and more. He’s worked with businesses from early-stage startups to private equity-backed organizations with hundreds of millions in revenue. His specialty is building the kind of sophisticated financial workflows and reporting structures that give business owners real visibility into what’s happening in their company. Dustin was raised in the Texas Hill Country and has never left — he and Kaitlyn raise miniature cattle on their property and are deeply connected to the agricultural community they now serve.

Is This You?

We work best with small to mid-size business owners who:

Are spending too much time on their own books — or avoiding them entirely

Feel like they don’t have a clear picture of their financial health

Know they’ve outgrown DIY, but aren’t ready to hire a full-time accountant

Want a proactive financial partner, not just someone to process transactions

Value responsiveness, plain-language communication, and professionalism

Are in the trades, construction, agriculture, or healthcare and want someone who already speaks their language

We serve clients across the Texas Hill Country and greater San Antonio area, and work with businesses throughout the country. Distance has never been a barrier — our process is built to work seamlessly from anywhere.

We’re In Your Corner

Financial management should make your life easier, not more complicated. Our job is to take complexity off your plate, translate numbers into plain language, and flag what matters before it becomes a problem.

We don’t just hand you a report and disappear. We stay engaged, stay proactive, and stay focused on what’s best for your business. If something looks off, we’ll tell you. If there’s an opportunity, we’ll find it.

We started BKKPRS because we believe the businesses that keep this community running deserve better financial support than they’ve been getting. That’s not a mission statement — it’s personal. This is our community. These are our neighbors. And we take that seriously.
